Welcome to the new and improved kytorchrun.org, the official Web site of the Kentucky Law Enforcement Torch Run. While we are excited about the site's clean new look, we are more excited about the site's change in content. We hope this becomes a site where Torch Run volunteers and potential volunteers can go not just to find out what's going on, when and where, or how an event did, but also how to make their events better. How to start new events or how to become involved in the Torch Run for the first time.

To that end, the site is really seperated into two parts. All upcoming events or event reports will appear on the front page or be available for a period of time in the archive. Those areas will change on a regular basis. Pages that appear under the menus at the top of the page are really a how-to of how to run local events or how to get involved in the Torch Run, complete with downloadable tips sheets for most events.

Also for the first time, you can regrister your agency on-line by clicking on the red "Register" button at the top of any page.

Another addition to the site's redesign is an extensive links page. We have provided links to our sponsoring companies and organizations as well as to agencies in Kentucky that participate in Torch Run activities. We have done our best to include all participants who currently have a Web site. If your site is not listed here, please e-mail the link to Mark Buerger and he will add it as soon as possible.

As always, feel free to contact us if you ever have a question that isn't answered somewhere on this site. Also, if you have any ides for things that should be on the site but are not, please let us know. We want this site to be as useful for our volunteers as it possibly can be and we welcome ay input that would help us achieve this goal.
